Although the online lesson modules and video/audio lectures are designed to help you learn independently, AIU faculty and staff are available to assist you every step of the way.
The programs may be taken virtually via distance learning without physical class attendance, all required materials are available at the online

There are different denominations for the term "High School" from country to country, in the United States it refers to the studies of High School and/or Baccalaureate. In all cases, the high school level is immediately prior to the university level. For over a decade, each course at AIUHS has brought the classroom to where you are. Specialized instructors will guide you step by step with video lectures and through the virtual campus. AIUHS offers you the freedom to choose when, where, and how to achieve your high school completion goal with online, virtual, and distance learning. You can take the entire program, or, if you were one step away from completing your high school studies at another academic institution, AIUHS will allow you to take only the course(s) you need to earn your high school diploma or degree.
On the AIU Virtual Campus, our Teacher Software combines audio lessons with a virtual whiteboard, pointing out the material being discussed. Lessons always conclude with a quiz, reviewing the material studied to ensure that students have retained the most important points.

Individual High School Courses
For students who wish to take individual courses for learning or training purposes, AIUHS High School has a wide range of options to help you succeed. Unless they are enrolled in the high school program, individual courses will not result in a Diploma.

If you came close to completing your high school requirements at another institution, AIUHS will allow you to take only the course or courses you are missing.
