yeah like the title said, i have a basically stock other than intake/ex/ blitz bov /uprated ic pump/ st205 swapped 1990

i'm pretty sure i have to get this tuned at an authorized hks dealer of which there are two near me: DRT Inc. in woodside, NY or
Pruven Performance Inc. in Conn i think they both have 4 wheel dynos,

I think i'm leaning towards Pruven as they have a web site and aren't in Queens, plus DRT seems drag focused

what else should i do? i have some gauges i need to install w/o temp/press/a/f

do i need to get a tuner box or controller for them to tune it and should i def have an electronic boost controller b4 i spend the cash for a tune

all input is appreciated

Can you tune boost thru it?

I would get an electronic boost controller before tuning it.

I wanted to get one of these, but could not find enough info for tuning and setting it up to want to attempt it.

Do you need to rewire anything to make it work, or does it plug n' play and run the car?

description says it came out of an st205, it says st205 / sw20 on the ecu case and it has a harness which i hope is plug and play

i know there is an electronic boost controller set up for power fc is there one for f-con? or could the same set-up be used?

also there are other hks attachments like gcc:
on ebay:

or
evc boost controller:

or
pressure map sensor(st205 is already map do i need this)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pres...hash=item120198446656&_trksid=p3756.m20.l1116

or
f-con navigator:

also will this be able to eliminate boost cut or will i still need a fcd?
im hitting fuel cut hard in these cold temps

The hks fcon is plug and play, you can optionaly tune it with use of the gcc. But other than that, i belive its just mapped for higher boost. you would adjust boost to a safe level bye watching exhaust gas temp. You need a fcd still that plugs directly into the fcon jumper harness to the ecu.

Id be careful with this advise, get the ecu checked by your hks dealer first and possibly he can tell you more about what its tuned for. Not a good idea to assume its tuned for higher boost and find out its not!
