The energy for all your efforts will flow more smoothly during these times if, where possible you postpone taking new initiatives, launching new projects, taking major trips, signing contracts or buying big things. You need to look at the house that has Aries in it. Possibly your 9th house? Mercury retro is in Aries so it is like a fire. it can burn us with vision and point to a direction that we should take or it can burn us up like trees in a forest fire. This is why it’s good to be aligned for it!

With a waning moon in my sun sign at the beginning of a Mercury retrograde, this should be interesting lol! It figures that every time I really need to do something new or major, here comes Mercury. *sigh* I’m sure there is a lesson in this that I need to find. A call to live my life riding the waves a bit more, instead of always holding so fast to the wheel 🙂
@DJ an astrologer needs your place of birth in order to see the astrological influences of your chart accurately 🙂
DJ: You were born 8 days before Mercury went retrograde. And, of course you are a Gemini which is Mercury’s domain. Maybe you should ask those many people why they think it’s good for you. My guess is that you are a bit of a trickster and so you are in synch.
Anyanka Jean: If new things always present themselves when Mercury is retrograde perhaps all you need to do is align yourself and then you don’t need to worry that you can’t go ahead with them.

We are having an intense eclipse month. From June 1st – July 1st are two solar eclipses and one lunar one. We have done two, one more to go. I think the intensity of things on this planet is stronger in any case. The notion of bad luck is an interesting one. Possibly it can be seen in how the eclipses effect your chart or a Mars or Jupiter square. They often feel like bad luck!

Truly it’s a detailed question to say how mercury retrograde effects any individual. For you Liam i would say it’s definitely time to cross your ‘t’s and dot your ‘I’s. Use your IQ but don’t be overly clever.

I was born Dec 6, 1984. I believe that’s the day before mercury retrograde in that year. I am trying to understand how the retrograde affects me?
Very powerful mercury! the best way to understand what the retrograde brings to you is to observe it over time and see for yourself. a stationery mercury indicates that however it affects you it will be strong!
I have heard it mentioned that this retrograde aspect can cause malfunctions in electronic and electrical equipment.
Any truth to this?.
I don’t actually think that the planets cause our reality. i think they reflect it. You have to meditate on this concept to get it. we are a seamless web. the planets are not ‘out there’ they are happening at the same time we are. and they reflect what is happening. having said that, it is definitely possible that wires get crossed more when Mercury is retrograde.
i am a virgo september 2,1944 wirh 5 plnets in virgo and it was retrograde when i was born pisces moon almost exact opposite virgo sun/pisces moon and uranus in gemini in the uranus in 7th house ascendant 27 critica degrees of scorpio.. i am going throuh so many stressers right now and know to lay low and clean and organize my physical and menta.spiritual house any comments necia
Sounds like you have it under control. I also get that you know some astrology. My suggestion is that you look to Mars in Virgo. it will be there till July as it retrogrades back and forth. it is a major moment for the Virgos, not to mention the planets in Gemini. and your ascendant is ruled by Mars.
