The Old Stadium
As you can see, there isn't much left of the old ground as we have known it over the years. The red back wall of the Brighton Beach can be seen to the right of the picture with a pile of concrete in the foreground which is waiting to be crushed down to a fine grade.

Here lie the remains of the old Main Stand, with the new Main Stand in the background.

The right brick wall on the left denotes the back of the old New Stand. It is possible to make out the footings of the new East Stand in front of the slope that used to be the terrace.

Here is a close up of the previous shot. This time you can see the the floodlight, that was dismantled on May 18th, still in its' resting place. In the cntre of the picture, you can see the footings of the new East Stand.

Here we see the old floodlights waiting to be taken away.

Looking across the pitch from the old New Stand entrance, you can see the old floodlights from a different angle.
