About The Aerogen Company

Aerogen has been a specialist manufacture of gas applications within the UK for well over 100 years. For the last 30 years Aerogen has specialised in the manufacture and design of flame treatment systems. Aerogen serves a broad range of industries and has a large global customer base.

Aerogen's History

1881 The Aerogen Gas Company is created and begins to specialize in the provision of country house gas lighting. Aerogen operates from works and offices in central London, England.

1911 The Aerogen Gas Company proudly wins ten gold medals across its first thirty years of operation. Medals included industry awards for excellence presented by royal, governmental and municipal authorities in, for example Dresden (1906), Brussels (1910) and Manchester (1911).

1925 Aerogen advertises in the Ideal Home magazine. By this time the Company has already expanded into other gas applications, offering lighting, heating, cooking and pumping solutions for the English country home. Aerogen has thousands of satisfied users all over the world.

1939 At the outbreak of war, Aerogen move out of London and into new premises in Alton, a small market town in Hampshire, England.

1980's Aerogen enters the flame treatment market, enabling clients to access improved product quality and reliable, repeatable results through a range of plastics applications.

2005 Mr Tony Wilkinson undertakes a management buy-out of the Aerogen Company Limited and in 2006, the works and offices move to new premises in Alton, England.

2007 Aerogen's Managing Director Mr Tony Wilkinson and Ms Amanda Davies collect the Queen's Award to Industry, presented to The Aerogen Company for Enterprise - International Trade.

2009 After over 125 years in service, Aerogen are proud to continue to offer friendly bespoke support to existing and new customers across five continents.
