TONE AND TIMING WORKSHOP

Sunday 10th JANUARY

 1.30 till 4.30pm

 Oakham Church Hall

Church Street

Oakham Leics

Join us for a workshop with Eleanor Turner, winner of the 2007 Cardiff European Harp Competition.  Ellie will be helping us get the best tone from our harps and showing us the amazing range of sound that can be achieved through technique rather than the use of electronics – we harpists have enough to carry without amps and wahwah pedals!  She will also help us with the tricky business of keeping in time with other players when there are too many notes for our poor fingers to cope with easily!

This event is free to East Midlands Branch Members but there will be a £5 for visitors.

You will receive some work to consider prior to the day so please indicate the level of each participant. Elementary/Intermediate/Advanced

Please note it is not suitable for beginners.
