What is the Logiprint USB Fingerprint Scanner?

This USB device connects to a Microsoft Windows 2000/XP computer and allows users to enroll in the ACTAtek system remotely. Though no software is required for the use of the ACTAtek system; the ACTAtek Server application is required if using the Logiprint USB Fingerprint Scanner. This small Java based application can be used to create, enroll and modify users as well as monitoring the activity of the entire ACTAtek biometric system.

Who should use the Logiprint?

The Logiprint should be used when enrolling in a ACTAtek unit is not feasible.

Note: due to the nature of a desktop biometric scanner, fingerprint placement may differ from that of a wall mounted ACTAtek unit. This can result in unsatifactory fingerprint enrollment and the necessity of re-enrolling some users on a mounted ACTAtek unit.

Is the Logiprint and ACTAtek Server available now?

Yes, and No. The Logiprint device is production grade but the ACTAtek Server Software is still under development. The software is still very usable and all common functions have been tested and are working. However, Intelligent Biometric Controls, LLC. makes no guarantees and assumes no liability for any loss of data and damages that may result from the use of the ACTAtek Server Software.
