Perfect 10 Sale!

I heart Heels.com and guess what????? They are having a "Perfect 10" sale! Now through December 1st you can save at least $10 on each and every pair of shoes on their site. You really need to check it out. If you haven't visited heels.com before you don't know what you've been missing. Seriously! The selection is so fierce.

You know I already checked it out. See below for a few that are on my list.

Now I know these don't have the "wow" factor like some of the shoes I've been featuring lately but they do have the look of a classic with a couple of twists. A tad menswear inspired, I love the tassel just over the toe and the seaming along the front. The square toe and stacked heel gives them a modern feel. This is a shoe you'll find yourself reaching for again and again.

Nilla Heel, Sam Edelman

Silver. Studded. Strappy. HOTT! Ugh. If I thought I could pull these off for even a second, I would. Unfortunately I think you need to have legs that are a mile long and that, unfortunately, is something I don't have. This is a seriously gorgeous shoe.

The combination of the patent leather and shiny gray pleated satin really gets me here. Then throw in the platform and 5 inch cone shaped heel. I want. No, I don't just want... I need.

I really, really, really like these. The color and all the straps. The platform and the wood heel. There is just one thing that I'm on the fence about. I love the studs but I don't love the BCBgirls emblazoned on them. I would definitely have to see these in person first. But everything else is spot on. What do you think?

Don't see anything that tickles your fancy? Just click here to get to the home page and search for a pair that does. I guarantee you will.

Lust-Worthy Wednesday

It's back. At least for this week. I knew it would happen as soon as I spied these in an email sent to me by Bergdorf Goodman highlighting the genius that is Versace.

Oh that lilac suede is to die for. Ultra feminine and out of this world sexy. The platform, sky high heel, and gold medallion help to amp up their sex appeal but the color and pale pink stitching up their girly quotient. These would pair perfectly with a white summer dress like the one pictured below.

Take an extra 25% off sale at Nine West!

Ladies you can score yourself some fabulous deals on ninewest.com. Right now you can get an additional 25% off all sale merchandise plus free standard shipping on all orders over $25. Weee! Happy shopping! Obviously I had a hard time narrowing it down to just a few choices. So many cute shoes. Seriously amazing deals. Must. Buy. Can't. Resist.

I featured this bootie once before - here. Only it was in a metallic purple leather. I love the shape and the ruching on the leather easily makes these look more expensive than they are. The peep toe keeps these on trend and at $59.99 you're getting a hot shoe at an even hotter price.

Papoose

I also featured this shoe in the same post I linked to above. I have been toying with the idea of purchasing some olive toned shoes. I love the updated take on the mary jane. The tie closure gives these just a hint of menswear but the sexy peep toe, platform, and 4 inch heel are all woman. Now on sale for $59.99 and with 25% off it brings them down to a mere $44.99.

A little bit rock n' roll wouldn't you say? A multitude of buckles kick these rocker chic boots up a notch. Not to mention the wooden platform and 4.5 inch heel. Orginally $250 now you can get your groove on for $149.99. Guitar Hero anyone?

Sumptuous brown leather and great seaming details give these boots a boost. I love that these have the look of a riding boot but then you have the added bonus of a stacked heel. Well it's a bonus to me and all of you fellow high heel lovers out there. Now just $127.49.

Adya,Boutique 9

The Adya by Boutique 9 remind me of the Jimmy Choos I featured just the other day. Ugh, I wish they were available in my size. I would snatch them up in a heartbeat. If they are available in your size hurry on over and get yourself a pair. A designer look at a fraction of the price. The Adya is available for the low, low price of $82.49

Hilda

A snake skin bootie? Yes please. These are seriously hot. A sexy little stiletto will help you strut your stuff night and day. Pleating in the leather bumps up the wow factor and now they have a great little price which certainly amps up their appeal. $97.49

It's a flat boot! It's a flat boot! Shocking, I know but I have been known to feature a shoe without a heel every now and then. I really, really like these. The cut, the slouch. Simple. Lovely. Perfect. $112.49

Lahdidah

Now I've actually tried these on in real life and I didn't hate them. I know. They are a little funky and it takes a certain kind of girl to pull these off but I think I could do it. You just have to strut with confidence. The price reduction on these is great and just may tempt me into picking up a pair for myself. Now $52.49.

It's my 100th Post!

I started this blog as a way to fuel my passion for shoes and fashion. It's been such an amazing experience and has served as a wonderful outlet for me to share what I love with all of you. I would like to thank each and every one of you who have managed to find your way here and especially those who continue to find their way here again and again. I love the connections I've made with other bloggers through comments and sharing fabulous finds. It's been a blast so far and I can't wait to see where I'm at 100 posts from today.

So I say, let's celebrate! And what better way to celebrate reaching 100 than showing you more party shoes? (I will also be having a celebratory glass of wine.) I'm not just about shoes you know.

Stuart Weitzman Brigitte

Multicolored Swarovski crystals adorn your foot as you shimmie and sparkle your way across the floor. I love the double strap detail and the almost ombre like feel of the crystals in that lovely blue to black color palette. A little edgy and a little va va va voom, just what a girl needs in her evening shoe.

In my idea of heaven these are the shoes the angels would be wearing. If you want to feel like an angel just slip into these bad boys. The bow, the satin, the crystals, the shape, the platform... Ugh! I love, love, love these!

There is something simple yet seriously sexy about these. Perhaps it's the color. The shape is
dead on and the rhinestone edged bow is perfection. These are so hot! I think one might "get lucky" in these. (wink, wink)

Oh the feathers... I really want some feathered shoes. These are so utterly glam. I love the color and, of course, the sassy little feathered detail tickling your toes. There is something about a t-strap for evening. It's certainly a popular shape but there's a reason. It's classic, elegant, and feminine. Yum.

Damn, I'm Good (Oh, and Kreativ)!

So the wonderful Kristal over at Good Food, Good Friends, Good Life tagged me for the Kreativ Blogger award. That's right. I'm Kreative with a "K" which is way better than being creative with a "c". Creativity with a "C" is so 5 minutes ago. If you haven't checked out Kristal's blog before I highly encourage you to head on over and check it out. It's a wonderful blog about her home, good food (of course), and she even has a "Shoe of the Day" feature which makes her A OK in my book. Oh and she loves wine. Who doesn't love a girl who loves shoes and wine? And if you're an animal lover you have to check out her two adorable pups. Ugh, they are so sweet it just makes your heart melt. With the award I am supposed to share 6 things I'm thankful for and tag 6 blogs who I think deserve the award. Here goes...

6 Things I'm Thankful For:

1. My husband. Without a doubt he is the man of my dreams. I am thankful everyday that God brought him into my life. He's generous, sensitive, gentle, loving and he not only puts up with but encourages my shoe buying sprees. What's not to love?

2. The men and women who serve in our Armed Forces - past, present, and future. Without these brave men and women we would not be the country we are today. Thank you. Thank you especially to all of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you for being strong and brave and for doing what many can not. You will always be appreciated and never forgotten.

3. My family. My husband and I would not be where we are today without them. They are amazing. Always encouraging, always supportive, and incredibly generous. I am grateful everyday for their warmth and love.

4. My animals. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. Until I met my husband I was NOT a cat person. I had grown up with dogs and the one cat I had encountered in my life was horribly mean. Now I can't imagine my life without them. My kitties are so sweet. There is nothing like snuggling up with them in bed and my dogs well they are equally as wonderful. There is nothing like the love of an animal to make you feel better even on your worst day.

5. My work. I have a great job. I work at a University and there is nothing like an idyllic college campus to help make you feel young. I love that I can walk across the quad and grab a cup of coffee and I love that even in this economy the education field remains somewhat recession proof. I have amazing co-workers who make going to work fun. I love that I can take classes for free and I love that I get 22 days of paid vacation a year. You can't ask for much better than that.

6. Red hair. Silly I know but I have naturally red hair and I couldn't be happier. Despite the fact that I was often tormented. In grade school it was carrot top, or red. In high school it was much dirtier i.e. "Firemuff" and "Hey, does the carpet match the drapes?" and "Why don't you get a tan?" Even with all of that I love being part of only 2% of the population.

I hearby tag you - Kreativ

You Make Me Feel Like Dancin...

Ah, what girl doesn't need some dancing shoes? Now I'm not talking ballet, tap, or jazz shoes. I'm talking night out on the town, holiday party, New Year's Eve dance type of dancing shoes. The kinds of shoes with touches of satin or sparkle. Totally glam and totally hot and totally impractical. But go ahead live it up a little. Wear them with your dark denim and a flirty top or pair them with a pair of opaque tights and wear them to work with a structured skirt and shirt or better yet wear them dancin!

Max Studio - Salsa Heel

Anyone up for some Salsa dancing? (That was too easy.) Seriously though, I really love these. The shape and the sweet gathered and beaded detail on the t-strap. Paint your toes red and then paint the town. Yes, please!

Oh Deer - Gelato Heel

It's the shape here that really gets me. It sends my heart all a flutter. Don't laugh but I LOVE the cotton candy hue. If the pink is a little much they also come in gold but if you really want to stand out - I vote pink. Do they make you as giddy as they make me?

Guess - Nisadora

Wow there are a ton of girly elements in this pretty little peep toe. That multi-colored satin, the ruching around the toe. All adorned with a perfect flower. I love the femininity and I love the colors. These are my top pick.

Put a little sass in your step with this hot pair of heels by Betsey Johnson. Glitter and glide your way onto the center of the dance floor and you're bound to capture everyone's attention. Let's hope you brushed up on your moves.

Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?

Many of you out there may not be familiar with where I stole the above post title (Ugh, I'm so revealing my geeky love of musical theatre) . There was this idea back in the day that if a young woman was to wear black patent leather shoes with a dress or skirt her undergarments or lack there of would reflect on her shoes. I can't say that I've subscribed to that theory but I can say a great pair of black patent leather shoes will never go out of style. And with that in mind I bring you two very pretty, very desirable pairs by Jimmy Choo. That Jimmy Choo. When don't they create a pair of shoes I desire? Stupid Jimmy Choo. All mean and evil tempting me with their amazing designs and price points that are just out of reach. Oh well. Looking at them will have to do for now. At least for this shoe hound.

Sandal booties? Really? Well whatever you call them I am in love. These are so very on point. So very now. Pair with tights in a contrasting color for an updated look or wear them with a cocktail frock for all of the upcoming holiday soirees. Whatever you decide to pair them with you are sure to be the belle of the ball. I love the back zip detail and of course the sky high heel. I'll be dreaming of these tonight.

Jimmy Choo Patent Peep Toe Mary Janes

Put those seven words together and you are guaranteed to add an instant classic to your shoe wardrobe. I love the little twist added with the open d'orsay styling and slim strap resting delicately against the instep. Add the peep toe and platform and well "You had me at hello".

Sequined Encrusted Dreams

Got an email from Neiman Marcus. Prada resort collection was the word of the day. Thought I'd check it out. How could I not? It was there I spotted these.

Only I spotted them in black. The above picture is from the Saks Fifth Avenue website. I couldn't save the picture from the Neiman's website. You'll find the black pair here. Aren't they lovely? The color palette is astounding. Oh they are sublime. Gorgeous with your LBD or your favorite pair of skinny jeans or a simple white shirt and black pencil skirt.

And then while I was perusing through the selection of Prada Resort 2009 that the buyers at Saks picked up, I spotted these. Ugh. Me want.

Seriously??? What's not to love?

Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale

I was so excited when I found this in my in-box this morning!

I love the Nordstrom half yearly sale! Naturally, the first category I check out is the shoes. There are some be-yoo-tiful shoes to be found and as always my dear readers, I'm going to share a few of my favorite finds with you.

Gray snake skin sling back. What's not to love? These shoes are quite lovely. The color is gorgeous and these could easily be paired with a wealth of looks. Now marked down from $94.95 to a mere $55.90.

What??? A featured flat??? Shocking, I know but I was running around like a crazy person at work today and was so grateful to be wearing the one pair of flats I own, which led me to thinking... I need to get me a couple more pairs of flats. Metallics aren't going anywhere anytime soon and are still going to be hot for Spring. I love the petal cut outs they give them a sort of filigree feel. This is a great flat to add to your shoe wardrobe. Get them for $79.90, marked down from $134.95.

Grinnd Bootie

Man, that Steve Madden and his extra letters in shoe style names. He's so silly. But let me tell you what isn't silly. The Grinnd bootie that's what. I LOVE these. The shape, the fabulous beaded details on the strap that intersects so delicately at the ankle. And now they can be yours for the low, low price of $118.95, down from almost $200.

Riding Boots - Cheap and Chic

A fair warning before I begin my post. Things are CRAAZZZZZYYYY at work so I can't promise lots of blog love this week but I will try my best my fine friends. Now on to the important stuff. It's no secret that riding boots are all the rage right now. I blogged about this hot little trend a while back and I gave you some options in the platinum, gold, and ATM range. Well since I know it's no secret that many of us are pinching pennies these days I've scoured the internet and found some stylish finds for... drum roll please... under $50! I think you could scrounge up the money to pay for these in your couch, or your car seats, or your change jar.

Merona - Kathy Riding Boot

A stylish little boot from Tar-jay. The buckle details at the ankle and shaft are spot on. I love the slight curve at the top. Simple and chic. I love these.

Morgan Riding Boot

Payless is really stepping up their game lately and this little boot is certainly helping their cause. These are little heavier, a little more rough around the edges than the Merona Kathy and I like it. Again we have great buckle detailing at the ankle and shaft. There is a great traction sole and the heel will give you just a smidge of height. I also really like how the "leather" looks a little distressed, a little worn in.

I love the seaming on this pair of boots from Jacque Pe-nay. The Jacque Pe-nay gets a bad rap and I'm not really sure why. I've found some incredibly cute things there and I truly believe that if they changed their name to the above moniker they could really up their ante. Seriously. The best part is that these are made from actual leather and I kind of cheated a little bit. The regular price of these beauties is $110 but they are currently on sale for a mere $44.99. Amazing, I know. So hurry and snatch yourself up a pair. There are still a ton of sizes left.
