The Alexander Technique is a method of re-educating mind and body to enable an individual to use themselves better in all activities.
The Technique teaches the pupil to learn to find a better state of balance mentally and physically. Pupils become more poised and graceful. Excess muscle tension is released and habitual patterns of interference can be refrained from.
The Technique can be used in all walks of life and in all activities such as horse riding, running, playing a musical instrument, driving or gardening.
