Tony Allen BA (Hons) Dip TP MRTPI

Managing Director

Tony is a Chartered Town Planner with wide ranging experience gained over 25 years within both the public and private sectors in Town Planning, particularly in residential and mixed use development and financial viability within the planning system. Having worked as Planning Director for one of the Country's leading house builders, Tony understands and can respond to the pressures that clients face working within the constraints of the planning system to achieve development objectives. Tony has successfully achieved planning permission for Clients throughout the Country and has given evidence at appeal through written representations, Informal Hearings and many Planning Inquiries, instructing Counsel on such matters and on High Court challenges when necessary.

Cathie Allen BA (Hons) Dip TP

Director

Cathie has 15 year's planning experience working in a wide variety of planning posts before moving to Allen Planning Ltd. She has dealt with development proposals for residential, retail, mixed use, leisure and employment uses. She has also worked in both London Boroughs and rural Local Planning Authorities formulating planning policy, and working within Conservation teams advising on major development proposals and producing conservation area appraisals.

Fiona qualified as a member of the RTPI in 1997. She has a wide range of planning experience in the private sector and has worked for several leading UK house builders. Fiona has advised on planning instructions for both public and private sector clients covering all aspects of development including mixed use, retail, leisure, minerals, residential and employment schemes. Her work invariably involves site-specific planning advice, preparing and negotiating planning applications and preparing evidence for Public Inquiries.
