Plaster Skimming in East Kilbride
We have 2 rooms in the house which we would like the ceilings to be skimmed. Both have an artex finish to them. The living the artex is quite detailed the dimensions are approx 3m x 5m. The bedroom is small; dimentions are apprx 2m x 1.5m.

"John called me not long after I submitted the job. A time was arranged for him to visit and provide us with a quote for the work we required. We accepted the quote and arranged a date for the work to be completed - it was great that he offered to work a Saturday as it meant we did not have to take time off work. The quote was very reasonable. |
A few days before the work was to be completed we made a slight change. John had no problem with this at all. John and his colleague arrived on time and then got to work immediately. They carried the work out efficiently and the end result was excellent. They laid dust sheets to keep mess to a minimum and did a quick sweep up before they left. We have just finished painting it (with paint he recommended for new plaster) and it looks so much better than before. Overall we are very happy with the work John did and will use him again for future plastering work." |

Job description
Have stripped wallpaper down to painted plasterboard. Paint is coming away at several points and the service is slightly rough in places so I think it needs to be skilmmed.

Existing walls and ceiling are gyproc board attached to timber boarding. Both rooms need plastering throughout and the rooms are prepared and ready now.

"John travelled a long way to visit the site and priced the work on the same day. After acceptance of the quote a date was agreed and the work was carried out in two days, walls and ceilings in both rooms plus infilling a cornich which I had removed and finishing edges to a stone wall. The work was carried out in an efficient and neat and tidy way. The finish was very good and we were totally satisfied with the work. John obviously has a pride in the job he does and thats hard to find these days." |

Job description
I have a flat To Let in Ayr which is in between tenancies at the moment. We're currently doing essential maintenance and would like the back bedroom replastered. It looks as though someone has redone the plaster at the top of the walls but the rest is beginning to crumble away particularly around light switch and plug sockets. Wall with window could probably do with damp proofing. Don't know the measurments exactly but i can get these to you this evening if required.

we have one bedroom which definately needs plastered, it looks as if it has been plastered with very grainy stuff in the past.floor size is 17ft by 14ft, not a high ceiling as it is in attic. A very large living room (21ft x 15ft) with high ceiling and galley kitchen may also need done, depending on cost. we get our keys on 8th october so are looking for quotes within a few days of that date, to start work during that week. thankyou
