The Amateur Golf Championship

1. Any player holding an official club handicap or official handicap authorised by their country's Golf Federation or Golf Union may enter.

1. Scores may be posted from ‘closed club’ competitions or organised ‘open’ club competitions played between 1 April and 30 September.
   All competitions must count for handicap purposes.
2. Scores from Junior only competitions may not be included.
3. Scores may be submitted from competitions at either home or away courses within Europe.
4. All rounds submitted shall be 18 hole Medal or Stableford rounds authorised by club committee which count for handicapping purposes.
5. The player will submit a net differential according to the format (i.e. Medal or Stableford) of the competition that has been played.

1. The players cumulative differential for his or hers best four rounds during the AGC season will be entered on the order of merit.
2. Ties will be decided on the best 5th card submitted and then the 6th card and so on up to the tenth card. If still tied the ranking will be decided by the best card in the four counting scores.

Final scores must be posted to the AGC web site
by 2400 hrs 16th October 2009.

1. All competitions will be played under the rules of golf as approved by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews unless modified by local rules
2. In entering the AGC the player agrees that the organisers may make any reasonable enquiries of the players home club to confirm a players score and handicap.
3. The organisers reserve the right to adjust any differential following enquiries of the club where the competition was held.
4. The organiser reserves the right to exclude a player’s score from the AGC until confirmation of score is received.
5. The organisers reserve the right to exclude any player from the AGC who is in consistent or premeditated breach of these rules
6. The AGC organisers, whose decision is final, will determine any matter not covered in the rules.

1. 1. The AGC is organised and operated by Golf Solutions, United Kingdom.
2. Whilst every attempt will be made to ensure the accuracy of scores posted by competitors the AGC organisers accept no responsibility for any inaccuracies in scores posted by competitors or incorrectly calculated by the AGC website at www.
3. The cost of entry to the AGC for the 2008 season competition is £30,
   The cost of entry to the AGC for the 2008 Monthly competition is £10,
   The cost of entry to the AGC for the 2008 Fortnightly competition is £5, which is to cover the cost of administration and is non-refundable.
4. Whilst every attempt will be made to operate the AGC website continuously the AGC organisers accept no responsibility for the AGC website being down due to circumstances beyond their control or for essential maintenance, repair or development.
5. Golfers winning prizes or invited to play in the Grand Final - Masters event will be decided on the basis of scores submitted over the course of the relevant AGC season, monthly period or fortnightly period. The AGC organisers reserve the right to invite only those golfers who, in their opinion, have complied with the AGC rules and regulations and have submitted scores that can be verified
6. The number of prizes available, and the number of competitors invited to play in the Grand Final in Portugal is in the sole discretion of the AGC organisers.
7. Prizes are as stated, are non-transferrable and non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.
8. The AGC organisers’ decision as to the identity of participants in the Grand Final and the winner of the AGC is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Winners during the AGC season agree that their name may be used in future publicity material and they agree to take part in any future promotional activity. A limit of one Monthly prize may be won by any player.
10. The AGC organisers accept no responsibility for any failure or delay in holding the Grand Final caused by circumstances outside their control.
11. Winners and partners are responsible for their own travel arrangements documents including passports and visas and travel/medical insurance and any other expenses are not included in the prize. Players under 18 years old who qualify will require written permission from their parent/guardian to play in the Grand Final.
12. By entering the AGC all golfers agree to abide by the rules of the AGC competition as well as these terms and conditions.
13. Levels of expenses for the event have been applied for to the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews (Rule 4-2g RA/46/2001).

1. The number of players invited to play in the AGC European Masters Final is predetermind by leading and winning positions . Whilst every attempt will be made to assist in the travel arrangements of competitors the organisers are not responsible for travel to airports. the player will be responsible for any overnight accomodation costs, transfers or alternate travel arrangements.
2. The leading AGC male and leading female competing on AGC OM Leaderboard will be invited to take part in the Grand - Masters Final. In the event of an AGC winner or player in a qualifying position not being available the next ranked AGC user will be invited to compete in the Grand - European Masters Final.
