Abby Rowbotham
I have had a strong interest in reflexology since
first experiencing the effects for myself as a teenager and remained fascinated
with the subject ever since. I had my first treatment for a neck problem and
later regular treatments for hayfever. These treatments helped me through my
exams both at high school and later at University. I personally found the
effects incredible and have spent the next 20 years raving about it!
I have a BSc in
Psychology, which I gained at the University of Wales, Swansea after which I
spent many years working within the Business Systems departments of large
financial services organisations as a software test analyst. In my spare time I
have also worked as a part time ski instructor and remain an active member on
various local committees. After marrying my husband and having children I
decided that I would like to follow my dream of working with complimentary
therapies.
Having completed the Inspira qualification in reflexology which covers all
aspects of reflexology and a detailed study of human anatomy and
physiology. I have continued my own study of this fascinating subject since
qualifying and am proud to be a practicing clinical reflexologist.
