After Care Advice

DRINK WATER Reflexology will release toxins from certain areas of the body into your system for the body to remove. Make sure you drink plenty of water for a couple of days following your treatment to help your body to achieve this.

KEEP WARM Getting too cold or indeed too hot will affect your circulation. Try to keep your temperature fairly stable for the following 24 hours.

DIET Avoid spicy foods and alcohol as these will just add more toxins to your system! We don't want all the hard work trying to remove them being wasted! Also, eating a heavy meal may reduce the rate of toxin release.

RELAX Avoid strenuous exercise for about 24 hours as this could reduce the removal of toxins.
 

How do you feel?

It is not unusual to feel very tired and sometimes a bit sluggish after a treatment. There are probably a lot of toxins moving around your body trying to get out. Follow the aftercare advice to speed this up. For some people it may take a series of treatments to feel the positive effects. Stick with it, it's worth it in the end!

Other people feel great after a treatment or very relaxed and then full of energy the following day, and some don't feel any difference at all for a few treatments.

Basically there is no written rule on how you "should" feel. Some have immediate relief from symptoms, others report feeling worse before they get better. Don't worry, this is the toxins on their way out!
