    Curious?

    I have the same problem; I first noticed it on 11-06-06. I called my hosting provider who stated they are using ioncube 4.3 but php 5.1. As we were exploring this I noticed that two files:
    config.inc.php;
    rconfig-ioncube.inc.php
    show a last modified date of 11-06-2006. Note that the second one is the file noted in the error message. I didn't update this file and neither did my hosting provider.

    My provider and I are both curious about this apparently self updating file. I have submitted a trouble ticket but have not received a response. Meanwhile my site is down and waiting...

    Ioncube problem resolved

    Although I did not receive any helpful instruction from my host(Powweb) or the program administrator here, I was able to correct the problem after reading some posts on my host forums and following the instructions from some people who have experienced the same issue. I will not post my resolution here, however e-mail me at timge@austin.rr.com and I will tell you how I resolved it and got my site restored.

    Sorry I can't help anyone with the corrupted file thing, Alex will have to handle that one.

    Amember is still the greatest. Thanks Alex for your efforts, you are always responsive.
