Hex Bolts & Setscrews Metric

Hex bolts have hexagonal heads and machine threads for use with a nut or in a tapped hole.

Allfix feature a huge range of bolts in metric threads.

Our steel bolts & sets (self colour and zinc) are HT (high tensile) as standard - this is to grade 8.8

A sets screw is fully threaded, and a bolt is part threaded.

A set or bolt is an externally threaded fastener designed for insertion through holes in assembled parts, and is normally intended to be tightened or released by torquing a nut. A setscrew is merely a fully threaded bolt.

Please note we measure the length of our hexagon headed bolts & sets from under the head to the end of the thread, rather than the total length including the head.
