I've used POEDIT 1.4.2 under Windows Vista w/o problems.
Now, it causes an error "GPLed for Windows..." and stops whenever I update my source files.
Am I missing something

This doesn't sound like exact error message text (or an error at all) to me... Can you please confirm that this is the exact text of the error message, or quote the full text if it's not? Better yet, could you please attach a screenshot?

Also, please describe in detail what exactly you do when you get this error and if it is specific to one file (or you don't know, because you only work with one PO file), attach the file.

I would day this is a bogus report. poEdit works fine here on Windows 7 x64.

That it works fine for you (and me) doesn't mean it works for everyone, this ticket's submitter included.

The "GPLed" thing is explained thanks to another reporter -- see #380.

The crash may, or may not, be the same thing as #379.

I found the same issue but I also found solution.
one of my sourcecode contain non english in gettext function
ie.
_('non-english character')

so I delete those line than it's work fine.

Could you please attach your PO file and the offending source code? Or at least indicate what the actual character was and what the catalog's settings are?
