Known for bringing colour to bridal through unique ombré variations and unexpected touches, Hermione is couture trained. Each design evolves from sketches, patterns, toiles, and embroideries drawn from Hermione’s inspiration and memories, executed through small specialist teams dedicated to each stage of the dress.
With the modern woman in mind, silhouettes and artwork bloom from an ever-growing and evolving botanical sketch library of unique hand embroideries and hand-painted prints, that showcase the brand’s heritage. Hermione juxtaposes timeless silhouettes with contemporary elements to create wearable masterpieces. Each Hermione de Paula design is crafted by hand with love.
THE ATELIER
Embarking on the next chapter after our 10-year anniversary celebration, welcome to the ‘ASTROBOTANY ATELIER’ and ‘MOON BEACH’ fitting room, Hermione’s new London HQ in Angel, Islington.
The ‘Moon Beach’ is a space for art & creativity, where clients can walk through the fitting room into the atelier to see the team at work. Inspired by celestial beaches, cabinets of curiosities with embroidered shell specimens. Couture dresses are displayed in glass cases like at a museum. PLANETARIA globe lighting by artist Lara Bohinc, creates a unique ambient projection representing exploration of the globe and the rings of Saturn.
