It's down here fool..

This is just a place for me to store and comment on things I see and experience. There will be a slant towards my dog, biking, running, strategy and other things that I find interesting but with the added bonus bad spelling and typos to keep you guessing.

This is Me Totally Sausage

Nice Podcast for those that are interested or curious about the English language. it is mainly about the confusion and intricacy of using English as a second language.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02vfbkv

It talks about ELF (English as a lingua franca’), and how is it the fastest growing language in the world.

It has me thinking about my use of English here in NZ how as a Englishman with an innate cultural understanding of Englishness how confusing at best, or misunderstood I must be to many of my EFL speaking friends. (I now have a picture of you all wearing ELF hats, but that’s another story)

When I say this is “interesting” I really mean it. It is very good. honestly it is, I’m not inferring any irony or sarcasm. Or am I?. oh crap…now I don’t even know what I mean…
