20th - 29th
September 2024

The 2024 main Festival will run from 20th to 29th September but see the special dates below

We are holding special environmental talks as part of Richmond's celebrations during the Great Big Green Week. We have two excellent speakers on the nights of Saturday 15th June and Sunday 16th June. - see the news item for details.

What people said about previous festivals: "I enjoyed the walking groups which were well organised and the pre-walk information was excellent"; "The range of walks was very good"; "The talks were brilliant"; "The beautiful town of Richmond! Stimulating talks and the opportunity to talk to authors". 100% of the people who responded to our survey in 2023 said they would recommend the Festival to a friend.

If you would like to support the Festival, and get early access to our tickets when they go on sale in June, please consider becoming a Friend of the Festival. You can join by following this link.

Once again we would not be able to put on the Festival without the help of our many supporters and our thanks go to: Richmond Town Council, Purple Creative, Altberg, Millgate House, Swaledale Outdoor Club, CRACCL, The Station and the many other sponsors, accommodation providers and advertisers. And of course many thanks to our wonderful volunteers who lead the walks programme and support the book events.

We hope to see you in September.
