ASTMA Conference and Trade Exhibition - Brisbane - June 2024 

After discussion with the ASTMA the NZGCSA have secured a reduced registration rate for NZGCSA members to attend the Australian Sports Turf Managers Conference in Brisbane in June. 

To ensure you receive the reduced rate please fill in the registration form - CLICK HERE FOR FORM and return it directly to Simone Staples at the ASTMA.  Simone will then process the registration and an invoice / receipt will be forwarded. For those of you that are both ASTMA and NZGCSA members use the form on the ASTMA website and you will receive the normal ASTMA members conference rate.

NZGCSA Members - Make sure we have your email address!

In a exciting change the NZ Turf Management Journal will be delivered digitally from 2024 via email straight to your inbox for NZGCSA Members! This will impact in how we the NZGCSA do our mail outs and newsletters. 

For you to continue to receive your copy of the NZ Turf Management Journal as part of your NZGCSA membership a unique and current email address will need to be provided if we don’t have your email address already.

You can fill in the form that went our with the December Mail Out (the last paper copy edition!), email us direct on nzgcsa@xtra.co.nz or fill in the form below with your details and current email address and we will add this to the database.

Without an email address you will not receive your copy of the NZ Turf Management Journal which is part of your NZGCSA membership, so make sure we have your email details. You are also welcome to check if we already have your email or update your info.

Alongside the new NZ Turf Management Journal format you will get more regular updates and insights as it is increased to six editions and will further enhance your subscription experience with interactive material and podcasts from turf experts. 

Unsung Heroes - A History of Golf Course Greenkeeping in New Zealand

A history of golf course greenkeeping written by Mike Finlayson. The book takes you from when golf was first introduced into New Zealand and through the decades with the evolvement of greenkeeping over the years to the present.

Past and present Greenkeepers share their careers, stories and memories. The book also features a chapter written by the late Nigel Lloyd on golf course machinery and equipment.
