A Grade II Listed Building overlooking the Cromarty Firth and The Black Isle, Assynt House has 7 en-suite bedrooms, sleeping 14 plus cots, each bedroom is individually designed to ensure that everyone will stay in comfort.
You will find lots of little extras included at Assynt House, fresh flowers in your bedroom, Organic Scottish toiletries, magazines, books, board games, great quality bedding, feather duvets and fluffy white towels.
To compliment your holiday, discrete daily housekeeping keeps on top of the household duties, leaving you to simply enjoy your time away.

Assynt House is a family business established in 2006. We delight in personalising our guests’ stay, from providing activity recommendations to booking tee times or spa treatments. We aim to ensure our guests’ experience is just as they dreamed and hoped for.
Whether guests wish to be greeted by a bagpiper or have their very own mini Highland Games in the gardens of Assynt House, every effort will be undertaken not only to meet those requests but to exceed expectations.

Flexible Catering
Enjoy cooking overlooking the countryside in a warm and spacious kitchen or choose the option of in-house catering, from formal dinners to one-pot meals, freshly prepared for you to serve yourself after a day exploring the Highlands of Scotland.
In the kitchen you will find everything you will need for entertaining and cooking for large numbers. Our wood panelled drawing room with open log fires, three large sofas and a dining table seating fourteen is the perfect room to come together with friends and family. Guests enjoy a second sitting room with open fire, TV lounge and six acres of gardens.
Beyond Expectations
What a treat to leave behind the household responsibilities. To enhance your stay with us you can look forward to daily housekeeping. One of our friendly and discrete housekeepers will attend to the house each day, making beds, cleaning the bathrooms, hoovering, dusting, and of course, setting the fires.
Housekeeping is complimentary, leaving you to enjoy the Scottish Highlands and come home to a clean house each day.

Assynt House offers couples a bespoke planning service and small castle experience, with in-house catering and assistance with creating your special day.
Weddings at Assynt House are individual, we can cater for up to 50 guests inside the house, but if you would like to invite larger numbers we have the space outside for you to hire a marquee for up to 100 guests during the day and an extra 50 in the evening. An events fee applies, please contact us for our wedding tariff.
