We would like to warmly welcome you to the ICH Clinical Hypnosis Training!

The ICH Clinical Hypnosis Training (formerly known as the Institute of Clinical Hypnosis) was founded in 1994 and is recognised as one of the UK’s foremost training colleges for clinical hypnotherapists. Our courses provide a recognised professional qualification and the opportunity to pursue a rewarding and fascinating career path.

Our courses are designed to provide a recognised professional qualification which will enable each of our qualified hypnotherapists to pursue a career as a confident, competent, effective and professional practitioner, holding a qualification that will be accepted without a question for membership of hypnotherapy professional bodies such as the GHR and the CNHC.

In addition to providing a core syllabus designed to produce competent and confident hypnotherapists, we go to great lengths to constantly update our courses to incorporate cutting-edge ‘mind technology’ developments drawn from all aspects of the psychotherapeutic field. We now place particular importance on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques.

Our Ethos is one of inclusion and involvement. Our students come from a wide range of ages, backgrounds and professions – lawyers, accountants, NHS professionals, mothers, the retired and overseas students.  Anyone in fact who has an interest in both themselves and others. We feel that this mix of life experience combined with the excellence of our tuition is what gives the ICH its unique atmosphere and has provided a successful platform for over 25 years of hypnotherapy training.

At the ICH we are also mindful of the fact that our students are giving up their weekends. Thus, while we are always aware that we are presenting serious concepts and ideas, we strive to make the courses as enjoyable and entertaining as possible. We believe that this is the best way for students to learn and retain information.

Every student matters to us. We know everybody by name and a happy, friendly environment is fostered. Life-long friendships are often forged at the ICH.
