Our Funeral Service
​We believe that a good funeral is one
which honours, gives thanks for, and ultimately celebrates the life of the person who has died, bringing comfort to those who grieve. Our Funeral Celebrants help create the perfect 'goodbye' to your loved one with your help: you tell us about what made them special; about their life achievements; and about anyone they would wish to thank at the service. Using these details, we recreate their 'life story' and this is delivered in a speech at the funeral parlour and/or the crematorium chapel.
We celebrate life's major events - birth, death and marriage - without referring to God or religion. We provide an alternative to church/mosque/synagogue services.

​Who We Are
​​A Beautiful Service was set up in 2012 to meet the needs of people in West Central Scoland who were looking for an alternative to religious ceremonies. We are not "anti-religion" - we respect all faiths and the rights of people to follow their chosen faith. We also apreciate that not everyone chooses to follow a particular faith and that this should not preclude them from celebrating life's major events.
