Full-time wage and salary workers median weekly earnings are $1,139 in 1st quarter 2024

Median weekly earnings of the nation's 119.2 million full-time wage and salary workers were $1,139 in the first quarter of 2024 (not seasonally adjusted). This was 3.5 percent higher than a year earlier, compared with a gain of 3.2 percent in the CPI-U.
