Welcome to our family run, peaceful & rural country escape.

Here at The Chestnuts, you can book a room in the purpose built annex of our 19th century cottage, or a self-catered stay in our Garden Lodge. Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor space and gardens that surround both properties, we are family and pet friendly and look forward to welcoming you.

The Chestnuts is located in the village of Tharston near Long Stratton - quietly set off the road but just five minutes from the A140. We’re 20 minutes away from the beautiful and bustling city of Norwich and only a 45 minute drive to the seaside town of Southwold. Our central location is in the ideal spot for exploring the whole of Norfolk, North Suffolk and the Waveney Valley.
