METBOWLING. The Metropolitan Police Athletics Association Tenpin Bowling Team 

Tenpin bowling with the Metropolitan Police is a great way to meet new collegues, compete in local and national events and be part of the successful Met Police Tenpin Bowling Team

We are part of the Metropolitan Police Athletic Association,and have been  running for 50 years. In that time the section has grown and had success in domestic, national and international taking part in the world police and fire games.

The section play’s a number of domestic competitions at a number of bowling centres over the year, these consisting of singles doubles and team events.The national events are held between all UK police forces in bowling centres within each force’s region,following the same format as the domestic events with an order of merit  for the year. The World police and fire Games are held every four years all round the world with police forces from around the world competing against each other.
