NECC’s Edible Schoolyard Garden Project Evolves with Educational Component
As the weather continues to warm up, The New England Center for Children (NECC) is preparing to revive its Edible Schoolyard project for another gardening season. This year, the academic, vocational, and food services departments have collaborated on a three-pronged approach for student involvement to enhance students’ learning experience.
STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Allie Phillips
Allie Phillips, a tutor in NECC’s Partner Program in Derry, NH, was nominated by a colleague because “she is always a ball of sunshine every time she walks into the classroom! Allie is one of the best staff members when it comes to problem-solving and helping students independently problem-solve themselves.”

Annie Tetteh is in her third year as a Human Resources business partner for The New England Center for Children (NECC). She was nominated by a colleague because she “brings a calm professional demeanor to the HR Department."
