Welcome

Welcome

The National Federation of the Blind of Texas is a community of members and friends who believe in the hopes and dreams of the blind. The Federation knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.

To help carry out our vital mission, we have developed a Code of Conduct that we expect members, volunteers, contractors, and staff to follow at all times.

She feels good being a part of the NFBTX because she loves that the organization raises the expectations of blind people. She had never experienced anything like the NFB, an organization that strives to improve the lives of blind people.
