ACC CREATIVE FUNDING PROMO 2023Short promotional film for Aberdeen City council.
The Freedom Lands and the Common GoodThe Freedom Lands and the Common Good is a collaboration between poet Molly McLachlan and filmmaker and visual poet Sara Stroud. Both poem and film were inspired by the boundary stones and the land gifted to the people of Aberdeen by Robert the Bruce. Nature and the city itself are strong themes in this work, as are the past and the legacy it leaves in the present.
The Future is Not F*cked - PromoA short film for Friends of the Earth Scotland about Just Transition
The Belmont Cinema promoA short 60 second promo to be used before feature films at the local cinema. This film was written in under an hour, inspired by my family and friends. The budget was £20 - £30 and it was shot with my students in my old Girl guide hut.
12 Hour shift - Police Scotland commissionA short film written and directed by myself with help from the Youth Action Group and Young offenders. It was made over a 6 month period with local young people and a professional crew. The budget was around £6000 and it was filmed on a FS700.
