Anna Bowen (she/her) is a Guelph, Ontario-based poet and writer.  She has collaborated with visual artists on projects related to space, care labour, landscape, and access. Collaborations include sensory translation with Aislinn Thomas, three windows described by three voices […] (2018) and a convex minutely puckered surface could be called a vertical sea (2019); durational installation Re:Mediate (2014-2016) with Christina Kingsbury; and ((Pollen))She is currently working on a collection of poetry that examines possibilities for reciprocity and relationship with four specific trees in her local bioregion through gesture, documentation, and text as a writer at the Ignatius Jesuit Center of Guelph and Old Growth Forest project. Her first collection of poetry, ReMediate, with Kingsbury, was published by Publication Studio Guelph  in 2016. She is the former host and co-producer of the 2018-2019 literary podcast, Bookishradio.ca. She holds an MA (2007) from OISE/University of Toronto in Sociology and Equity Studies in Education, critical race theory and women and gender studies. She is a former section editor at THIS magazine and now works for arts foundation Musagetes, ArtsEverywhere.ca, and Publication Studio Guelph.
